When you order
We ask for your name, email and phone number, and store them with the order so we can cook it, call you when it is ready, and answer questions about it afterwards. Card details never reach us: payment happens on Stripe's own hosted page, and we only ever see whether it succeeded.
Orders are kept for as long as we need them for accounting. Ask us and we will delete everything that is not required by tax law.
When you get in touch
Catering and contact forms store what you type so we can reply. The extra questions on the catering form — date, headcount, venue — exist so we can quote in one message rather than five, and are deleted with the enquiry once it is closed.
Email we send
We only add you to the mailing list if you tick the box. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list rather than flagging you on it.
Measurement
We would like to know which parts of the site help people order — which pages get looked at, where orders get abandoned. Nothing is collected until you agree in the banner, and choosing “no thanks” means nothing is sent at all. There is no advertising tracking on this site.
What is stored in your browser
Your basket and your answer to the cookie banner are kept in your browser's local storage so a refresh does not lose your order. Neither is sent anywhere.
Who else sees it
- Stripe, to take payment.
- Google Maps, when a map is shown — their embed sets its own cookies.
- Our email and SMS providers, to send order confirmations.
Your rights
Ask us for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion, and we will do it. Email hello@bullens.example.com.
